Preparing for your appointment is important if you want to get the most from your session with our audiologists.

Our preparation guide uses tools developed by the Ida Institute. The Ida Institute is an independent, non-profit organization working to integrate person-centered care in hearing rehabilitation.

You don’t have to use all of the tools available. Instead, use the ones that apply most to your situation.

Why Improve My Hearing

Why Improve My Hearing can help you think about how important it is for you to improve your communication. You will choose situations where you have difficulty hearing, then answer a few short questions about how important it is for you to do something about it.Save your notes as a PDF or email them to your audiologist to discuss at your first appointment.
