We take tinnitus seriously. We don’t believe that you should just ‘learn to live with it’, which is the unfortunate advice many people receive.
Worrying about your tinnitus can often make it worse. Making sense of the causes of tinnitus, and why you may keep noticing it, can help you to take control. Most people find this approach helpful.
We have a range of professionals that specialise in various aspects of tinnitus care. Our audiologist can provide education and guidance. Our clinical psychologist can help to reorganise negative thought patterns. Our online tinnitus support group allows you to meet likeminded individuals.
Dizziness & Vertigo
Dizziness & Vertigo can be a scary experience. It can leave you in bed for days or it may be short lived.
Dizziness or vertigo should be investigated at the soonest convenience.
They will email a written summary of the appointment for you to keep in your records which may be useful for future in-person appointments.
Ear Ache
As part of the video consultation our audiologists can send you an email with written advice. This can help you explain the problem to your GP, or ear specialist, to improve the chances of a satisfactory outcome.
Although we can’t take the pain away, our audiologists can provide expert advice on appropriate steps to take.
